Thank you for your interest in joining us for our 5k community event! Coming into our 8 th year, we have seen the growth and benefits for all involved – The Rock, sponsors and of course, the people within the community. The money raised at last year’s race was able to support several organizations within our community, including The Pregnancy Center, Manna Pantry, The Transformation Center, who serves weekly dinners to a Toledo neighborhood, and Fountain Square, an apartment complex housing seniors and disabled individuals.

THIS YEAR all monies raised will go to World Missions to support the Hernandez Family. Pastor Carlos and his family, Rebecca, Mia, Elena and Lily will be moving to Central Eurasia to bring the Gospel to unreached people in this area. The funds raised from this event will help them get into the field where they will teach English and work with others to plant churches in this unreached part of the world.

Our location on the corner of Starr and Lallendorf provides for a scenic run or walk from our church to Pearson Park. The race is an out and back with two-way traffic, where you will run or walk out to a halfway point in the park, turn around and come back to our church. Below is a map of the outlining the course, which is accurately measured.

What makes our 5k unique and special? It is our awesome door prize drawing after the run/walk! We invite you to hang out after the run/walk for snacks and the drawing where all registered participants are entered, but you must be present to win.
